Enjoy an old-fashioned 4th of July with us in Old Poway Park in lovely Poway, CA. This free event runs from 10 am - 4 pm on Friday July 4th, 2014. The MCRD Museum will offer its first LEGO Build in partnership with L Gauge Museum on Saturday, June 14th from 1PM to 3PM. This LEGO Build will be held in the Visitor Reception Center (VRC) inside of the MCRD Museum. Kids will learn how to build an American Flag in honor of Flag Day. Museum admission, the event, and the LEGO brick are free; kids get take home their LEGO flag. This event is open to Active Duty Military families, for kids ages 5-11. This LEGO Build is limited to the first 100 kids signed up. Parents must accompany their children at this event. Please R.S.V.P. by email at info@corpshistory.org.
L Gauge Museum is participating with Old Poway Park, the San Diego Toy and Doll Museum and many other organizations to bring the joy of the season to children and adults. This event shows off Old Poway Park in traditional Christmas fashion and is FREE to the public. We will be displaying many Holiday LEGO® creations and have 2 building areas for younger and older children. We invite you to come out and enjoy! November 26. 2013 - January 17, 2014 Join us at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park San Diego during the holiday season! Custom LEGO® trains showcasing the talents of well-known LEGO® train builders will be on display. A children's LEGO® build area and build wall will be there for children of all ages.
